Happy Blogmas day 18 everyone! And today I thought I would talk about my facial skin care routine and what I use. I have found that as I have got older my skin has changed quite considerably and products that once suited my skin now dont. Last Christmas, I found I was having breakouts and my skin just didnt look that great. My husband bought me the Liz Earle essentials try me kit and since then, I have used nothing else.
If you dont know the range, Liz Earle is a Great British brand that uses a range of natural ingredients, doesnt test on animals and you really get the feel that the company appreciates its customers. If you order on-line you get a signed card as to who packed it for you and they do the most beautiful wrapping! A service you dont get with alot of other brands.
But onto the products themselves! My skin completely changed after using these products and I cant recommend them enough. The hot cleanser is in the press alot and you may have already heard about it. You apply a blob of cream to your hands then gently work it into your skin. It begins to dissolve and break down any make-up. You then take one of the Liz Earle muslin cloths (which comes with the cleanser) and run it under hand hot water. You then gently wipe the cloth over your face and your make up just disappears. Its also so lovely having a nice warm flannel over your skin. I used to dread taking my make up off at night because it was such a chore, but with this, I can honestly say it doesnt feel like a chore at all. I also cant believe how thoroughly cleansed my skin feels afterwards.
The toner is lovely too, and you have a choice of moisturiser for either combination or dry skin. I find it is the perfect base for my make up. As I said, I have never looked back from having the trial set last Christmas. Whilst the skincare is a little bit more expensive than what I used to buy, it is so so worth it for how my skin looks and feels now.
