weight loss in pregnancy in urdu

What would December be without a works Christmas party? Erm, well, it wouldnt be December!! And tonight I have my works Christmas party. Heres me getting ready and a few cheeky snaps of a very festive night out!

I should say as a disclaimer straight away, that given the chance I could take all day to get ready for a night out. I am one of those annoying people who can take ages getting ready whilst seeming to not make much progress at all.  Alas, since Baba, those days are behind me, and with Baba at my side emptying my make up bag and running off with eye shadows, this is my current getting ready routine. Before I even started my make up I had spent time faffing about trimming my eyebrows... (not completely sure what I was thinking) and I also French manicured my toe-nails. I guess my faffing around days arent quite behind me yet. Anyway, lets go get ready!

Nail polish first....its a Rimmel Salon Pro varnish in 104 Saturn from the Kate Moss range.  Perfect for a Christmas night out.  It applied really well and dried quickly too.

Now onto the make-up and starting with primers. I first applied these Benefit beauties to prep my skin: That Gal face primer, Stay Dont Stray eye shadow primer, and the Porefessional.

Then I applied Estee Lauders EE foundation in medium and Rimmels Wake me up concealer to any excess baggage under my eye area. I challenge anyone to not put on their foundation without pulling a silly face.  Cue a picture of me applying foundation and pulling a silly face.

For eyebrows, I used Benefits Quick look busy eyeshadow to fill in any areas that needed it.

And a dab of Benefits High beam to my cheekbones.

For the eyes I applied Macs Brule all over the lid and Urban Decays Smog to the eyelid, Dark Horse to the socket and under eye, then I blended like a mad woman (this isnt a product, its me blending) and applied a dab of Half Baked to the inner corner and  middle of the eye. I used Eyekos skinny liquid liner in Black to line my upper lid.

You have to go all out at Christmas, so I decided to try some false lashes by a brand called Kiss.  The set I applied were called Sultry.   Ive not tried the brand before but I picked them up in Boots for around £6. These are the lightest lashes I have tried and the glue is fantastic. I think they looked so so natural that whilst I knew they were on, they didnt stand out as fake lashes and they were very comfortable.

I powdered with Rimmels 005 Silky Beige powder and then applied a nude shade of lipstick from Rimmel in 725, Tantalizing Taupe. I waved my hair with my very trusted Bablyliss waving wand and I wore my Kate Moss playsuit which I got in the sale earlier in the year.  Paired with nude heels I was good to go!!!

And if you have managed to bare with me and read to this point I need to say a big shout-out to the lovely girls I used to work with. Whilst I am currently on a career break from the NHS, these girls work so so hard trying to improve the lives of children and families. It is an often thankless task.  They are some of the most amazing, caring and hardest working people I know and the NHS is honoured to have you working for them!

I am also so lucky in the fact that some of my work colleagues have now become my best friends. They are crazy, funny, a tiny bit mad (some more than others!) and I feel very blessed to have them in my life.

I am afraid I cannot reveal too much about the night itself.  What happens at the work party stays at the work party. But lets just say there was lots of laughter, maybe a few drinks (!), way too many selfies and MC Hammer moves.   And as soon as you are jumping around to Mariah Careys All I want for Christmas on the dance floor, you really know its Christmas time.

Thank you so much for reading and I will see you tomorrow at 6am for, well, erm, on a completely different note, some fighting!!!

weight loss during pregnancy in urdu

Hi and happy 7th December! How is your December going so far? I think ours is going well and so far so good with blogging everyday!!! My husband goes away to America next week for the entire week so we will see how things go when me and Baba are left to our own devices!

Mr. Bee went away only last month for an entire week, which doesnt sound that long, but when you have a toddler, lots of things can change. And it made me giggle, because when he came home, Baba had new things that she was doing and also new ways of doing things. My husband was a bit baffled by her new rules. And I thought in a weird way it was kind of like the film Fight Club.  Obviously this is minus any fighting and minus Brad Pitt.  But it feels like Baba has these list of rules which you need to know or its game over.  And my husband literally had no idea of the new rules in place.

Heres what I imagine Baba saying to her Daddy.

"So you are interested in joining the Toddler Fight Club eh?
Well, let me tell you, this is no walk in the park Daddy.

Rule one of toddler fight club.  There are many, many rules.

Rule two of toddler fight club.  These rules change daily, sometimes hourly and different people have different rules, you best be on the ball buster.

Rule three of toddler fight Club.  I need my two rubber ducks, my penguin, a stone and a blanket all in a particular order before I go to sleep.  Put them in the wrong place at your peril.

Rule four of toddler fight Club.  The day you learn the rules is the day I change them.

Rule five of toddler fight club.  I can sense your fear and that you dont know the rules.

Rule six of toddler fight club.  The dog is not a dog.  He is a miniature pony and he will transport me around the house.

Rule seven of toddler fight club.  I will shout flaggy at random intervals because it is funny.  And no, I dont know what it means either.

Rule eight of toddler fight club.  I need the Highway Rat read to me before I drift off to sleep. Fact.

Rule nine of toddler fight club.  I dont need you to ask me if I need the toilet.  I can now tell when I need to go.  Well, the majority of the time that is.

My tenth and final rule of toddler fight club is that when you return from your next trip Daddy, I will have re-written all the above rules!!"

Is it just my toddler that has to have things just so and who changes so so much in a week?

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you in the morning for a very special blog post!

I love going and exploring new places, and when my lovely husband asked if me and Baba wanted to tag along on his business trip to Windsor, I obviously jumped at the chance!  I hadnt been to Windsor for a very, very long time, and when we arrived in the evening it was even more picturesque than I had remembered.  We took a leisurely stroll and walked past Windsor Castle, pretty Royal Christmas lights and then we all went for a bite to eat.

How cool is this painted phone box outside the Castle?

Windsor castle was all lit up, with projections of various pictures and snow cast on its side.

Taking an evening stroll.

The crown jewels Christmas lights.

The next day, Mr Bee had to leave early for his meeting, so me and Baba did a spot of Christmas shopping in the town and then we made our way to Windsor Castle.  I was a bit nervous, as it was only me and Baba and a pushchair.  Sometimes it can be quite hard to manage the two.  I have to say, the staff were wonderful.  I was helped everywhere, and the stewards all chatted to Baba and were so friendly and welcoming. As a mum on your own with a toddler, this makes such a difference!!

Unfortunately, you cant take pictures inside the main area inside the castle, which are called the State Apartments, and you also have to leave pushchairs at the entrance. Baba managed to walk round most of the way, and she was fascinated!!!

There is the most amazing giant dolls house that belonged to Queen Mary. I dont think I can even do it justice to describe it.  It is so intricate and the detail is phenomenal. Baba enjoyed seeing all the rooms and furniture and one of the stewards challenged her to find a little dog in there.  (Special thanks to him if he ever reads this, he will know who he is and he was so lovely to us!). We then wandered round the rest of the castle.  You can do a free audio tour, and Im sure if I had done that, I would have some interesting facts for you.  But with Baba in tow, we literally just wandered round and marvelled at the chandeliers, the paintings, the beds and the ceilings. And I think sometimes it is special just to do that. To just take everything in that you are seeing, without trying to concentrate on all the facts. It was just being in the moment with Baba and appreciating all of the treasures.

The castle is also decorated at the moment with the most beautiful Christmas trees I have ever seen!  We collected the pushchair at the end of our walk round and then we made our way into the grounds. Luckily, we caught the changing of the guard ceremony which Baba was amazed by!  She could not believe these were real live guards were marching!!!

Afterwards, we had time for a bit more shopping, and we stopped at a cafe for a spot of lunch.  This all might sound idyllic, but I managed to spill a whole jug of milk down myself in the cafe.  Not my best moment, but I gritted my teeth and carried on smiling and we got on with our girls day.  With the lovely smell of warm milk following us.

We wandered round the shops some more, and found the famous crooked house and more quaint shops and streets before Mr.Bee came to pick us up.

Windsor is so worth a trip and I cannot recommend to you enough a trip to Windsor Castle.  My daughter is only two and a half, but she is still talking about the guards and the dolls house.  And the shops in Windsor are definitely worth a look too! You can find more information on Windsor Castle here.

So thats our Blogmas day four and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for some very prickly and festive fun!!! Thank you for reading and to stay up to date with Blogmas 2014, click on any of those little links to your right!!!
