Christmas has well and truly arrived in the Laura Evelyn Bee household and today we put up our Christmas decorations!!! We had a Christmas music channel on in the background and I have to say Baba seemed quite bemused my East 17 prancing about in big woolly hoods!! How could I explain to my daughter that East 17 used to be cool? (For anyone who doesnt know who they are...maybe just Google them. They used to be the bees knees back in the 90s!!!). Ive taken some photographs so you can have a nosey at what we put up.  All photos obviously come compete with Pablo T Dog in the background and of course Baba who suddenly appears out of nowhere the minute I try and take an arty shot!

Hanging the decorations.  Obviously we broke some and then obviously I re-hung all of the ones that Baba and my husband put on the tree. Its got to look symmetrical.

I love a Christmas cushion, or two. 

My husband bought me this from his recent work trip to America.  It smells gorgeous!!! Though makes me slightly hungry!! And this is the shot where I told Baba to stand well back.  Hmmmm. The little monkey!!!

Our house is well and truly Christmassy now, and the countdown to the big day is well and truly on!!! I hope you are all having a lovely day and I will see you nice and early tomorrow for a little road trip!!!

Two of our dear friends went into labor on the same day last week! Its really kinda crazy cool! They were at the same birthing center at the same time and then ended up having their babies at the hospital in rooms right next door to each other! Talk about a bonding experience! Well, we were SO excited to get the joy of visiting them in the hospital. Josh and Sheila had their little princess named, Elloise and Jesse and Rebecca had their little prince named, David Luke! I swear when babies THIS cute start surrounding my world, I catch the fever in the air. Sam too! Hes been drooling over Ellie from the first picture posted on instagram! She is seriously just like a china doll! haha. We both melted as we held David and listened to Becca and Jesse tell their amazing birth story. He had the sweetest little smile on his face, the entire time I held him. It was so precious. No, it was dangerous! haha!

The little Forest was pretty excited to meet David and told him all about the adventures they would have. 

I had to include this. I found the face crayons from Káels party, right before we left for the hospital and couldnt resist. All the nurses who saw him in the hallway as we went to visit the babies seemed to get a kick out of it.

Good morning! I have some very exciting news to share with you all today!!! I have decided to do Blogmas 2014!!!! Woop woop!! (Thats a hell of a lot of exclamation marks right there). For the month of December up to December 25th I will be blogging every single day (gulp!) and sharing my month of December with you all! Want to see the highs and lows, the tears and the triumphs? The drama and the reindeer? (Hmmm, this sounds a bit like a movie trailer!!). 

Whilst I cant promise anything as epic as the Hunger Games, (come to think of it, I dont think anyone would want to read my blog if I had to avoid death every day), I can definitely give you dodgy posing in outfits of the day and all the goings on in the run up to Christmas for me, my husband, Pablo T Dog and a two and a half year old toddler (though she likes to be referred to as a half and a two year old now!).  Prepare for the stress of shopping when I realise I have forgotten a present (this always happens), when I get ill (this always happens), Christmas parties, days out and lots of adventures. 

I have studiously considered the logistics of this feat, and whilst I am a little scared, I believe I can do it.  I am going to try and make the blogs as up to the minute as I possibly can and share what I am getting up to every single day.  Blogs will be up at 6am and will run a day late, so you will actually read about the 1st of December on the 2nd, and so on and so forth! The December 1st blog will actually be about November 30th (and its a good one!). Following? Good, good, good. 

So, let Blogmas 2014 commence, and whilst my husband may need to dip me into a tank of cold water (akin to in Overboard) at the end of this, I am very very excited!!!

There is alot of excitement that comes with the beginning of December. Mince pies (who am I kidding, I was eating them in November), Christmas songs, rolls of cellotape and missing scissors, and of course, it is truly the start of the Christmas countdown. This can only mean one thing. Advent calendars!!!

Baba has this cute mouse advent calendar that I picked up from T K Max (I just love this shop at the moment). There is a little wooden heart that you move along every day.  

I also bought her some Goodies organic gingerbread men so she can have one as a little treat too (shes very lucky!!). The gingerbread have no artificial colours, flavours, or hydrogenated fats and also have no added salt. I picked them up in Tesco for under £2 per box. 

I am one very, very lucky lady this year and my lovely, lovely husband picked me up the Benefit calendar! Woop woop!!! I have been dreaming of this calendar since last year, and probably to shut me up and get some peace, the calendar has now become mine!!!! Behind each little door is a Benefit treat of samples and other goodies, as a huge Benefit fan, this calendar is just amazing!!! (Pop over to my Instagram for pics of the goodies inside!). 

For Mr.Bee I have started a tradition (!) where I have a little box that I fill with a different treat each day that he opens every morning.  It might be chocolate, a pair of Christmas socks or another little gift.  It might sound a bit OTT, but all the gifts are quite small, and Baba and Mr. Bee quite enjoyed opening the box every morning last year to see what was in there.  Plus, with all Mr.Bee does for me, I think its only fair he has a little treat before he heads off to work, and it actually starts our mornings off in a nice Christmassy mood which cant be a bad thing.

and whilst I will win no prizes for my crafting skills (how I envy those lovely craft blogs), its home-made and its the best I could do :-)
